Forgotten? Never!

Like Helen of Troy, her name will echo through the ages. There are names that even today evoke strong feelings and memories because their legends live on in thought and written word.

Penelope, who waited 20 years for Ulysses to return from the Trojan War.

Kassandra, princess of Troy, both cursed and blessed by Apollo by being given the gift of sight but no one would heed her word.

Cleopatra, the last pharaoh of Egypt whose intelligence was matched by her love of her homeland.

Nefrititi, Egyptian queen of Akhenaten who built a city out of the desert.

No, Vala will not be forgotten. She is now and will always be part of the mythos of Stargate, yet although she is legendary, she is not a legend. She is very real and will one day return so the second original SG-1 can be whole and intact yet again.

The second original SG-1 will rise up and fight the evil!

WHEN THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER

'Though the warning bells were ringing
'Twas a death knell they were singing
'Twas the Death Ori were bringing
'Til the band comes back together.

All the "lost" in far-off places
They wear death masks on their faces
Of their lives, there are no traces,
Will the band come back together?

Fear and hope go hand in hand
In the grasps of one small band
Of four people who will stand
As a band who'll come together

They will beat the evil priors
Expose them all as zealous liars
There'll be no more funeral pyres
Once the band is back together.

When the magic's back on our screen
Second original SG-1 team
Dan, Mitch, Vala, Teal'c -- it seems
That the band is back together

We shall go on to the end of the series, we shall fight in the Scifi network, we shall fight on the seas and oceans in cyberspace, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the airwaves, we shall defend our Vala, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches of the websites, we shall fight on the landing grounds of every URL, we shall fight in the fields of forums and in the streets of message boards, we shall fight in the hills of the internet; we shall never surrender!

The Professor and the Pirate

The Professor: He is quiet and reserved, a consummate gentleman. He is shy and has a retiring demeanor, but he'll speak up and won't back down from a fight if he believes he is in the right. He uses his intelligence as a shield against a lifetime of hurts he's suffered but he also knows how to wield it like a weapon if necessary. Once a boy, out of his depths, now he is a man, seeking his way in the universe but always holding on to the ultimate truth that knowledge grants.

The Pirate: She's a rogue, a pirate looking out for her own good and she relishes every moment of it. She will lie to get something she wants and if that does not work she will steal it and she is not beyond playing a sympathy card if it means she will get her way. Hidden beyond the lies and deception is someone who perhaps knows too what is like to have a lifetime of hurts...but she hides behind it well.
